What is Indian Head Massage?

Indian Head Massage is treatment that has evolved from traditional techniques that have been practised in India
as part of a family ritual for over a thousand years.
Although the techniques are only applied to the upper body (shoulders arms, back, neck and head) collectively
they represent a de-stressing programme for the whole body by stimulating and soothing the nervous system that
penetrates the whole body.

The ITEC Diploma Course

Offers an accredited and internationally recognised post graduate qualification with a thorough. Revised and extended grounding in Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology. An extensive additional massage experience with therapy specific techniques. This course is also recognised by the QCA (Qualifications Curriculum Authority).

The Diploma provides an in depth understanding of the use of specific techniques tailored for use over clothing and through hair to aid healing in the body and mind of an individual.
